Dragon Quest X Offline is delayed in Japan

Is Dragon Quest X Worth Playing If You Don't Speak Japanese?

Square Enix has decided to delay the release of Dragon Quest X Offline. The offline version of Dragon Quest X, an MMORPG originally published in Wii and Wii U and who later arrived at PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC, was scheduled for February 22, 2022 in Japan. Now, however, it will not be available until summer next year. Trauma Skirmish, the producer of Dragon Quest X Offline, has explained that the reason for this delay is that it will allow them to end the experience and ensure that the game reaches the stores with the expected level of quality. At the moment Dragon Quest X OFFLINE is only announced for Japan, with versions for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. Square Enix has not yet announced plans for an eventual launch of the game in the West.
